Who are we?
Arthur Pieman Conservation Area Management Committee - APCA is the advisory body charged with representing the community’s input into the management of the Arthur Pieman Conservation Area.
The Committee is the Communities voice to address issues, maintain native wildlife and fauna, provide safe and accessible tracks and cater to the many diverse ways in which people experience the area.
The Committee was appointed by Minister Roger Jaensch and works closely with the Parks and Wildlife Service, who ably manage the area along with the local indigenous people.
The Committees underpinning values are of fairness, inclusiveness, non-discrimination with the aim to preserve this unique area at the same time balancing the recreational pursuits of various groups who visit and live in the area.
